Beaches in Central Dalmatia

One of the symbols of Croatian tourism is pebble beach Zlatni rt on the Brac island, whose uniqueness is shape changing depending of the wind, that makes this beach extremely attractive for surfers. The British Daily Telegraph declared that beach as the most beautiful in Europe. Among ten most beautiful beaches of the world the pebble beach Punta Rata in Brela is selected, surrounded by pine trees, and its uniqueness is a large rock that protrudes from the sea and makes it ideal place for jump of the bravest. The most beautiful beach in Vodice –Blue beach, consists of rocky, sandy and concrete beaches, with various entertainment facilities and numerous restaurants. Famous Bacvice sandy beach in Split with many cafes, restaurants and night clubs has traditionally been a place of the World Championship in picigin (board game with the ball in the shallow sea no deeper than your knees). One of the most beautiful beaches of the Hells Islands is Palmizana, situated in a large bay with the sandy bottom and surrounded with pine trees. The ideal choice for avoiding the crowds is a sandy beach in the Porat bay on Bisevo Island. Indented coastline of the island of Murter offers numerous rocky, sandy and gravel beaches, and those hidden intended for nudists, but most famous among them is sandy beach Slanica in homonymous bay.
